Just as a courtesy, to let everyone know, this journal will probably consist 90% of art from now on.

I'll be doing LJ-Cuts with information about the art behind, such as subject, content, rating, and if theres any "quirks" which some people might not be into (furries, sex, etc.)

We are planning to rent a cabin in the Smoky Mountains in the spring if anyone is interested.

We're trying to get 9 or 10 people but SOME PEOPLE ARE ANAL AND DON'T WANT TO TAKE A COUPLE DAYS OFF OF SCHOOL TO GO so we don't have a lot. We're thinking right now, Me, Nick, Jenny, my brother and his fiance, and a couple of Jenny's friends (although she will probably try to bring everyone she worked with at Wal Mart.) Anyone else interested?

The more people we get the cheaper the cabin will be, but if money is still a problem for you we can work stuff out because we really just want a lot of people to go with. These cabins are in the $200 range so with 9 or 10 people...that's like $20/person a night. Cheapest vacation ever!

Edit Actually I looked it up and these seems to be one of those retarded rumors or whatever but still. It's actually #77 and it only works in some states, in others it's different, and you're actually recommended to call 911 instead and put on your hazard lights. Ugh. This makes me paranoid. =P

I knew about the red light on cars, but not the *77. It was about 1:00
p.m. in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An
UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. *Lauren's
parents have always told them never to pull over for an unmarked car on
the side of the road, but ra ther to wait until they get to a gas
station, etc. *
Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called
*77 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not
pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was
an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind
her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she
was and there weren't, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and
that he had back up already on the way.
Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind
her.One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car
behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground.
The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.
I never knew about the *77 Cell Phone Feature, but especially for a woman
alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently
police have to respect your right to keep going to a safe & quiet place.
You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them (i.e.
put on your hazard lights) or call *77 like Lauren did.
Too bad the cell phone companies don't generally give you this little bit
of wonderful information.
*Speaking to a service representative at **Bell** Mobility confirmed that
*77 was a direct link to state trooper info. So, now it's your turn to
let your friends know about *77.

Just incase anyone here is interested...

Right now I'm kind of in a rut with money. I'm by no means STARVING but until I have the ability to obtain and hold down a job, it would be great to get a little extra money.

I've never done commissions before, I don't know what to expect, and quite frankly I'm worried no one will be interested, but I guess it is worth a shot.

I'm going to start off by offering 10 full color drawings for $5 each. If I fill that roster, I will likely increase the price of future commissions.

So here are the rules, stipulations, and whatnot:
1) The first 10 people to confirm they are interested in a commission from me, will be locked down in this journal. They will get their commission for $5 each. If for any reason, before the commission is finished and the transaction complete, they change their mind, I will free up that spot and someone else can take advantage of it.
2)I am willing to try anything you throw at me. ANYTHING that I can think of, that is. If something arises I am not comfortable drawing, I will let you know, but feel free to ask me first!
3)The drawing will be YOUR choice of either digital or traditional media. Please browse my gallery to get a feel for my style.
4) I WILL NOT expect nor ask for payment until I have laid down a sketch for you, and we have both agreed it to be satisfactory. I will then ask for payment via Paypal (possibly another method, if this is inconvenient) before continuing and completing the work.
5) Commissions will be completed on a first come, first serve basis! Don't hold me to this, but once a sketch is settled, I expect the final product to take 1-2 weeks.

I will be so embarassed if no one takes me up on this. (;
